謝佳瑜 CHIA-YU HSIEH
謝佳瑜，1998年出生於臺北。目前就讀國立臺北藝術大學美術系研究所。創作形式主要為繪畫、雕塑、影像等複合媒材。關注於台灣早期美學風格，以挪用、拼貼、重組等方式作為敘事手法，試著描繪縫隙之中被遮蔽的異質性，製造另類奇觀。近期著重在研究台灣早期外銷陶瓷產業，透過收藏，田野調查及影像紀錄，持續進行中。曾榮獲「臺北美術獎」優選（2024），「洪建全基金會－雨棚計畫」(2024)、「第六屆當代雕塑麗寶創作獎」(2024)等。曾在臺北君悅酒店「Art Future藝術未來」(2024)、臺南應力空間「等登燈」(2023)、臺北王道銀行「N家庭的珍奇櫃」(2023)、高雄駁二藝術特區「很慢．現挽hiān-bán」(2022)等展覽發表。並收錄於丹麥藝術團體Tofu Collective新書〈Typhoon: In the Eye of Taiwan's New Artistic Whirlwinds〉。
Hsieh Chia-Yu, born in 1998 Taipei, Taiwan. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Fine Arts at the National Taipei University of Arts. Her practice includes painting, sculpture, and video. Focus on the early Taiwanese aesthetic styles, employing methods such as appropriation, collage, and reconfiguration as narrative techniques to depict the hidden heterogeneity within the gaps, creating alternative spectacles. Recent emphasis has been on researching Taiwan's early export ceramics industry through collection, field research, and footage, which is an ongoing process.The work has been awarded the Honorable Mention in the "Taipei Art Awards" (2024), the "Hong Foundation - Canopy Project" (2024) and the "6th Contemporary Sculpture Lih Pao Award" (2024), and been exhibited at "Art Future" (2024) Grand Hyatt Taipei, "It‘s the light. It’s gonna take a while." (2023) Soil Space, "N Family's cabinet of curiosities" (2023) O-Bank Gallery, and "hiān-bán" (2022) The pier-2 Art Center. Recently featured in the new book by the Danish art group Tofu Collective, "Typhoon: In the Eye of Taiwan's New Artistic Whirlwinds."
