謝佳瑜 CHIA-YU HSIEH
謝佳瑜，1998年出生，現在工作生活於臺灣臺北，創作類型主要以繪畫、雕塑、空間裝置等。關注於台灣早期美學風格，從空間裝飾乃至生活物件，喜好這些舊有樣式在當今所留下的奇異氛圍，廉價的媚俗之物，矯柔造作的品味。經常以挪用、拼貼、重組、並置等方式作為敘事手法，在解構與重構的過程裡，試圖挖掘縫隙之中被遮蔽的另一層異質性，製造另類奇觀。近期著重在研究台灣早期外銷陶瓷產業，透過收藏，田野調查及影像紀錄，持續進行中。
Hsieh Chia-Yu born in 1998, and now lives and works in Taiwan. Chia-Yu creates works that focus on the early years kitsch aesthetics, throughout paintings, installations and projects. She loves the strange atmosphere left by these old things and the way it is presented in present days. She looks at these visual elements as objects of observation, in order to understand the particular historical significance behind them.Recently been focusing on researching Taiwan's early export ceramics industry. This research is ongoing and involves collecting, field research, and footage.
